I think we will see many more challenges ahead as people earnestly seek Him and open their lives for His use. Suffering and the challenges through which it comes deepen our understanding and fruitfulness if we allow them to finish their work.

Peace and grace to you all!Kithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16096416193065803876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3321604364389095781.post-23502955654937127942010-08-03T08:06:01.107-04:002010-08-03T08:06:01.107-04:00Kit, on one hand my heart aches for you and the te...Kit, on one hand my heart aches for you and the team when I read this because I know how hard this journey is! But on the other hand, I know all of what you are learning through it, all 7 of the truths you mentioned, are important and a big part of what God wants to do through it all. I can particularly affirm your 7th point, which I think comes as a result of experiencing the first 6 points. I think what you've written here expresses important realities and can encourage others in similar situations to think rightly about what they are going through. Thanks for your honesty and for pushing us to a biblical theology of suffering and an appropriate perspective on ourselves and our ministry efforts.Katie Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04283943602099009724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3321604364389095781.post-72268940117204183082010-06-17T18:54:59.630-04:002010-06-17T18:54:59.630-04:00Thanks, Jeff. When we're moving into enemy territory hoping to rescue people from their various hells, the sky can seem like bronze and the ground like iron. Who else will go to them if not us? Who else will bring the message of salvation? Who else has the message of salvation in Jesus if not his disciples? Thanks for your honesty and ministry.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00919947153158441870noreply@blogger.com
